Hey there! I’m Maja

(Pronounced like Ma”h”a)

When I started working in tech and in the corporate world, it was very easy to live a life centered in myself - making goals to climb the “ladder”. As I continued walking down the path of self-reliance, I felt very unfulfilled. With God’s grace, mercy, and Mother Mary’s guidance I realized the missing piece - having God at the centre of my life.

St. Peter is probably one of my favourite saints because of how relatable he is. There are so many gospel readings that show his humanity but specifically my favourite is from John Chapter 21. St. Pope John Paul II’s had such a beautiful sermon about this gospel. Here’s a quick excerpt:

This turning point in the life of Peter came about at the initiative of Jesus, not at the initiative of Peter. Peter’s attempt ends in failure; but when he fishes at Jesus’ command, the nets are filled to the breaking point.

The same thing happens in the life of each of us. While it is true that we ourselves decide what paths we will take, our decisions will lead us to true joy and fulfilment only if they are in accordance with God’s will. As Saint Paul says: "It is God, for his own loving purpose, who puts both the will and the action into you.”

I thought I needed to be a certain type of person, doing a very “holy” occupation or vocation, to go on a mission for Christ. But just like St. Peter and all the amazing Saints, all I needed to do is say yes to the duty of the moment and trust God. He will meet me where I am at and bring people along my path that will both purify and lead me to happiness in communion with him.

So I embark on this journey to live the Gospel through using my God given skills . My goal is to help unload the burden of dealing with the "techy” aspect of running an organization/business for my clients. I hope to help my clients showcase their brand online so they can focus on working on their business.
